Aldo Ice Cream

Aldo Sossi is an eccentric third-grader who gets very involved in everything he does. In Much Ado , Aldo becomes a vegetarian when he realizes that the class's pet crickets will be eaten by predatory chameleons. Applesauce is the not-so-welcome nickname Aldo gets stuck with when his family moves to the suburbs. In Ice Cream , he's so busy all summer that he needs a vacation when it's over. Ages 8-12. (Sept.)
