Trick-or-Treat, Smell My Feet!

Green-skinned witch twins brew up a stinky sock concoction that forces trick-or-treaters to say "Smell my feet!" instead of the usual salutation. Nobody gets any candy until a sweet pink baby bootie reverses the curse and also reduces the twins to toddler-size. Desimini's (Dot the Fire Dog ) cut-paper collages have a folksy aesthetic, and her unpredictable story—not to be confused with Diane deGroat's book of the same irresistible name—shows the witches getting their just deserts.
