With the author of How to Meet a Gorgeous Guy and I Saw Him First at the helm, this first book in the Sorority Sisters series is worth the read. Kim Adler has just moved to a ritzy Arizona suburb. Though she hasn't any particular interest in joining the school's exclusive sorority, she's tickled to be selected for membership. All is going smoothlyKim is fitting in, she's acquired a best friend and the attentions of a classy, good-looking guyuntil the sorority snobs pull a less-than-ethical stunt. This results in a satisfying showdown, with brave Kim leading the insurrection and telling her ""sisters'' exactly what they can do with their club. Some of the characters (the siren, the hunk) are a bit cliched but the rest are very good. This is not for members only; most readers should like this intelligent and witty book. (12-up)
