Rain, Rain, Go Away!

Church’s familiar dot-eyed toddlers are the ones asking the rain to “come again another day” in this board-book version of the classic nursery rhyme. “The little children want to play,” writes Church, as three tikes (and a teddy bear) peek out of a patterned clothesline tent while raindrops fall around them. Luckily for them, the sun emerges by the end of this friendly, no-frills interpretation. Up to age 3. (Feb.)
