Conteh-Morgan's distinctive torn-paper artwork gives vitality to this quartet of My First board books. Multiracial casts are another plus. A zookeeper and farmer tend their respective flocks; a girl raises flowers (``Take them to someone you know,'' reads the commendably unselfish conclusion); and a family, including a rambunctious dog and cat, stands up to be counted.
