Graphic designers Neumeier and Glaser must have had a grand time in venting the animated letters that tell at a delighted glance their links to the words printed on the pages opposite. ""Aa: Ac robat'' faces an upper-case A gingerly making its way across a thin line (wire). A huge E has had a bite taken out of it, symbolizing ``Ee: Eat.'' Opposite ``Gg: Gone'' is a blank space. All the other letters are equally ingenious and expres sive, the effects sharpened by the inky black of the pictures against pristine- white backgrounds. (36) ~
