I Can't Get My Turtle to Move

A young farm girl is disappointed by her napping turtle's reluctance to move. In her morning rounds of the farm, she encourages two fish to swim, three kittens to purr, finally calling on 10 rabbits that hop at her request. How does she get that turtle to move? She mentions lunch, and he amiably pads over to his lettuce leaf. O'Donnell ( Maggie Doesn't Want to Move ) successfully combines a counting story with a genial tour of different animals on the farm.
