The Great Race

Four animalsa rabbit, a bear, a dog and a frograce to a friend's picnic. That's almost all that's given. The details of the story are left to readers, who can punch out pictures with color-coded tabs and create their own rebuses and stories each time with the many vehicles, picnic treats and scenic props. Who's going to turn down the chance to provide the picnic with a can of ants or a bucket of fish, delivered by the driver of a roaring rocket or a zooming boat? It's a wonderfully creative idea, which will either encourage memory skillsas readers try to match elements from beginning to endor humor, as they put together all sorts of nonsensical combinations.
