Noodle Loves the Farm

Noodle the panda bear returns in his sixth board book, in which textured accents let readers get up close and personal with farm animals: “Noodle loves the horses./ Noodle loves the sheep./ Noodle loves the cat./ Shh, she’s fast asleep.” All three of the aforementioned animals feature soft, woolly textures, while a pig and a pair of chickens are leathery and feathery, respectively. Billet’s digital artwork creates a cheery atmosphere that complements the sturdy, upbeat verse. Ages 1–3. (Jan.)
