Sixty Years of American Poetry: Celebrating the Anniversary of the Academy of American Poets updates the 1984 anthology published to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Academy. Here, 75 poems by new Academy chancellors and award winners (among them Rita Dove, Allen Grossman, J.D. McClatchy and Howard Moss) are added to those of the century's greatest American poets (although some notables, e.g., Stevens and Roethke, are left out) honored in the 1984 edition.
