Yummy Bunny Easter Treats!

Thirty cardboard pieces—shaped like chocolates, jelly beans, eggs, and more—are included with this sugary board-book ode to all the goodies that can be found in an Easter basket: “It’s time to build your Easter basket./ You can watch us do it!/ When jelly beans are fully ripe,/ they’re picked and added to it.” The book follows the format of Boniface’s There’s a Dinosaur in My Soup!; Poling’s digital illustrations gleam with neon shades of purple and pink, as teams of rabbits sculpt chocolate animals, make marsh-mallows, and wrap the sweets in foil.
