A Soul So Wicked

In the sixth Moon Chasers paranormal (after 2011’s Night Falls on the Wicked), Kohler wastes no time revealing the source of the curse that dooms generations to be bloodthirsty werewolves. In 70 C.E., telekinetic witch Tresa took revenge on the lord who killed her family, pledging fealty to the demon Balthazar in return for immortality and a curse on the lord’s heirs. Now the ancient lycan Darius hunts Tresa, seeking to break the curse. Instead of the evil witch he expects, he finds a haunted woman who longs to free herself. Balthazar’s newest witch is a serial killer dubbed the Rose Petal Killer, whose murders Tresa envisions as they occur. The protagonists joining forces to stop the murders is predictable, but the identity of the killer is surprising, and readers not enthralled by Tresa and Darius making up for centuries of mental torment with hot sex may still be intrigued by the mystery.
