Fake Dating the Prince

Kane (His Leading Man) puts a charming twist on the Cinderella fantasy in this fleet romance. The ultrarich Crown Prince Antoine-Philippe—aka Flip—of (fictional) Lyngria asks flight attendant Brayden Wood to be his fake, “no strings attached” date for a charity ball. Brayden agrees—first because he’s secretly attracted to the handsome, unbearably posh royal, and also because it gives him a chance to see how the one percent lives. The “fake date” conceit is a bit flimsy, but their arrangement gets much more real after Brayden proves himself adept at dancing and tequila shots. When Flip wants to keep up the charade, the two share a bed and start falling in love for real. However, Flip’s blatantly romantic overture—a fabulous, impromptu trip—only makes Brayden more anxious. Is there an expiration date on their budding romance? Will Flip be upset by some tabloid trouble? A series of miscommunications leads to a zinger of a finale.
