Cuando Viene Papa? = When Will Dad Be Back?

PreS-Gr 2-This whimsical story captures perfectly the anxiety commonly felt by a young child. One spring day, a small bear watches with growing alarm as his father announces that he is going to search for wild strawberries and commences to pack his bags. As pajamas, a toothbrush, cough syrup, a map, and a butterfly net go into the bag, it seems to the youngster as if the bag is swallowing up all of his most cherished possessions. The little bear's imagination supplies the bag with unlikely items such as his bicycle, soccer ball, skates, and even his favorite anthill. His whole world threatens to disappear along with his father. As the child waits, he asks his mother, ever more anxiously, ""When will Dad be back?"" When he finally does return, the little bear's world is restored. The attractive design of this book features simple drawings in strong and vibrant colors.
