The illustrations are full-color, crayon-style drawings featuring medieval settings and clothing, and characters with rounded, doll-like, gentle faces. The reading is expressive and clear, performed by a male/female pair, allowing for dialog to be voiced by the appropriate gender. Because this book originates in Spain, American listeners will notice pronunciation differences the soft ""c"" and ""z"" sound as ""th,"" the harsh ""j"" sound but this should not lessen their enjoyment of the performance.
