Amazon has made 10 selections for the Best Books of January, and seven of the titles are selling better as e-books than as physical books. Those seven titles are Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler; Running the Rift by Naomi Benaron; Agent 6 by Tom Rob Smith; The Spy Who Jumped Off the Screen by Thomas Caplan; Fraternity: In 1968, a visionary priest recruited 20 black men to the College of the Holy Cross and changed their lives and the course of history by Diane Brady; The Ice Balloon by Alec Wilkinson; The Orphan Master's Son: A Novel of North Korea by Adam Johnson.

The other titles saw higher print rankings: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green; Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking by Susan Cain; The Flame Alphabet by Ben Marcus. Green's book, which was hovering around #40 on the physical bestseller list, is still being buoyed by Green's promise to sign every copy of the book's 150,000 print run. The Fault in Our Stars will be released on January 10.
