Susanna Einstein Joins Dunow, Carlson & Lerner

Susanna Einstein will join Dunow, Carlson & Lerner as an agent on January 1, shuttering her eponymous Einstein Literary, which she has run since 2015. Among her authors are Ree Drummond, Shari Dunn, David Ellis, Jennie Fields, Rachael Herron, Virginia Hume, Emmy Laybourne, Daniel Stashower, the late Edie Windsor, and Kitty Zeldis.

Susan Graham, who began at Einstein as an assistant in 2015, will also join DCL. Among their clients are such authors as Veronica Agarwal, Vita Ayala, Lee Durfey-Lavoie, Aliza Layne, Danny Lore, Sunmi, and Ann Xu.

“I've loved building my company over the past decade, but with the ongoing changes in publishing, and the isolation of our post-pandemic work-life, I'm more than ready for the collegiality of a larger group,” said Einstein. “I've known [DCL principals] Jen, Henry, and Betsy for many years and have long admired their agency. It feels like the right fit for me and my clients, in both philosophy and spirit."
