Harlequin Trade Publishing, a division of HarperCollins, has announced a strategic reorganization that will consolidate its five imprints into three core imprints: Hanover Square Press, MIRA Books, and Park Row Books.
Hanover Square Press will sustain its nonfiction program—covering biography, business, history, journalism, memoir, pop culture, psychology, science, and true crime—while adding horror and fantasy to its existing portfolio of crime, literary, and speculative fiction. Hanover Square's roster includes such authors as John Banville, Dana Bash, Toshikazu Kawaguchi, and Rick Ross.
MIRA Books will absorb Canary Street Press, and focus on commercial romance and romantic fiction. MIRA's list features such romance authors as Kristen Callihan, Robyn Carrk, Tarryn Fisher, Susan Mallery, and Jasmine Mas.
Park Row Books will continue to offer upmarket book club fiction and narrative nonfiction from such authors as Pam Jenoff, Mary Kubica, Sarah Penner, and Lisa Unger. The Graydon House imprint will be phased out by the end of 2025, with its remaining titles transferring to the three continuing imprints.
Staff levels will remain stable through the transition, Harlequin confirmed, though some editors will be reassigned across imprint teams, and the publisher will maintain its current output of 180 titles per year. The restructured editorial teams will be led by Peter Joseph at Hanover Square, Susan Swinwood at MIRA, and Erika Imranyi at Park Row.
