Therapist Signs with Zondervan

Tom Dean of A Drop of Ink Literary has negotiated world rights with Andrea Palpant Dilley, senior acquisitions editor at Zondervan, for Just Say This by Jason VanRuler (Get Past Your Past), a therapist and expert on relationships, attachment, and dating. The book, set for release in spring 2026, offers, the publisher said, practical tools to initiate deep, difficult conversations with clarity and courage.

Hollywood Pastor to IVP

Kelli Trujillo, IVP trade editor, has taken world rights to Hollywood pastor Jeremy Treat’s tentatively titled Everyday Discipleship, for release in summer 2026. Treat (The Crucified King) draws from his experience of pastoring in the heart of Los Angeles to help Christians follow Jesus in every aspect of life, from play to politics, technology to mental health, and more. Don Gates of the Gates Group represented the author.

Kids Book Pair to WaterBrook

Bunmi Ishola, senior editor at WaterBrook, has acquired world rights to two more picture books for ages 3-7 in the Big Adventures for Growing Minds series, written by Tina Cho and illustrated by Marta Alvarez Miguens. God’s Little Zoologist (summer 2027) and God’s Little Botanist (spring 2029) join God’s Little Astronomer and the forthcoming God’s Little Oceanographer to explore how different parts of science reveal God’s love for the world. Adria Goetz at KT Literary and Alice Jin Zhang at Astound US brokered the deal on behalf of the writer and illustrator, respectively.

Crossway Takes Picture Book

Champ Thornton, acquisitions editor at Crossway, has acquired world rights to He Always Hears, a picture book for ages 3-8 by Alyson Punzi and illustrated by Tyler Charlton. The book, the publisher said, follows a young girl as she navigates a challenge and learns from her parents how to lament to God. Publication is planned for fall 2025. The author represented herself, and Carrie Hannigan at HG Literary represented the illustrator.

New Fiction to Tyndale

Tyndale House fiction director Stephanie Broene bought world English and audio rights to Twenty Something Else by blogger and Booked Solid with Han & Steph podcast cohost Stephanie Mack, which is planned for release in early summer 2026. In addition, Tyndale will publish two indie titles by Mack and a second unnamed novel by summer 2027. The first novel, per the publisher, is the story of an almost-forty working suburban wife and mother who is divinely granted the chance to relive parts of her twenties. The character explores the dreams she buried and the questions she’s carried. Danielle Egan-Miller of Browne & Miller Literary Associates brokered the deal.
