Casemate UK has completed its corporate branding as Script Publisher Services. The company provides distribution services to approximately 180 publishers.
"We are now in a somewhat unique position of being able to offer specialist services to both the scholarly and trade publishing markets," Imogen Adams, managing director for the academic and professional division, said. Prior to joining Script Adams was managing director of Eurospan, the distributor acquired by Mare Nostrum Group last year. Michelle Zappa, previously head of sales at Eurospan, is joining Script as sales and marketing director in February.
"We are very excited with the developments at Script—the new branding which reflects our expertise across the different publishing channels," Mike Hewitt, managing director of Script, said. He noted that the company has consolidated its warehousing and distribution operations into a hub in South Yorkshire.
Script Publisher Services is jointly owned by the Pen & Sword Group and Casemate Group, and is maintaining its distribution partnership with Casemate for coverage in the Americas.
New clients in the academic and professional division include Lynne Rienner Publishers and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The trade division has added Stolpe and At Bay Press. The company's general distribution division has also taken on several former Saltway clients, including Kew, WM B Eerdmans, and Augsburg Fortress.
