Bryant returns with her third erotic contemporary romance featuring the Strong brothers (after 2007's Hot Like Fire
). Kaeden Strong is an accountant with allergies who avoids the outdoors, but when his father hires voluptuous outdoor guide Jade Prince to take the Strong family on a camping trip, he reluctantly goes along. After Kaeden and Jade share a steamy night of passion in a sleeping bag, he's appalled to learn that Jade is dating another man: Darren, her spiteful business partner. Kaeden promptly starts a similarly ill-advised relationship with his secretary. While harshly critical of casual objectification (“Several of the men sat watching her movements like vultures checking for roadkill”), Bryant harps on the familiar romance theme that the steamiest lovemaking indicates the most fitting partner. Readers seeking plot, character development, or anything more than nonstop sex should look elsewhere. (May)
