LaDuke, an environmentalist, Native American rights activist and 2000 vice-presidential candidate on Ralph Nader's ticket, gathers her speeches, articles, fiction and poetry for this anthology. Some of the pieces appeared in such publications as the American Indian and Sierra, and they weigh in on subjects like the dangers of dioxin, the U.N. Conference on Women and corporate sponsorship of the presidential debates. The book opens with a foreword from Ralph Nader.
