PW Star Watch, in association with Frankfurter Buchmesse, identifies and celebrates members of the U.S. and Canadian publishing communities who are blazing trails and doing innovative work. PW Star Watch brings recognition to honorees on a global stage.
Now in its fifth year, PW Star Watch has celebrated more than 200 honorees.
From publicity to production, bookselling to new technology, every facet of the publishing world is represented by this elite group. PW Star Watch shines a light on innovative and talented professionals from all parts of the industry and provides them with additional mentorship, while also honoring their contributions.
Fifty honorees were chosen from among the nominations for the fifth annual award.
Five finalists chosen by the PW Star Watch executive jury will be revealed in September, 2019.
One "Superstar" will be selected and honored in New York on September 18, 2019 during the celebration. The Superstar will receive a sponsored trip to the Frankfurt Book Fair in October, 2019.
