National Geographic World, the children's magazine put out by the National Geographic Society, and Klutz Press have announced a joint endeavor. Starting this month, one page of the magazine will be given to Klutz to use in whatever educational way it devises. The monthly page, like Klutz's books, will be designed as a hands-on activity, not just for reading. The February page is called "Hike This Page" and contains an exercise for shrinking the universe down to 300 yards and then hiking it. Other pages under construction include "Fly This Page" and "Lick This Page." National Geographic World boasts a monthly circulation of more than 800,000 in some 150 countries.
