Kristen Ashley’s contemporary romance Complicated claimed the top spot on the list of bestselling titles on the Smashwords platform for November. Ashley also snagged the #15 spot with another romance, The Time in Between.
Three more romances made the top five—Broken Silence by Natasha Preston, Miss Fix-It by Emma Hart, and Healing the Broken by Evangeline Anderson. The outlier, Mel Robbins’s self-help title The 5 Second Rule, checked in at #3.
Elsewhere on November’s list, paranormal romance author Rachel Van Dyken grabbed three spots, with Darkest Temptation at #7, Untouchable Darkness at #10, and Dark Surrender at #12.
And continuing its gradual descent, sinking to #9, was Milo Yiannopoulos’s Dangerous, recently back in the news with the disclosure of documents—including brutal feedback from the book’s editor—relating to the author’s breach-of-contract case against Simon & Schuster.
