Author Traci Sorell and illustrator Michaela Goade recently went on a one-week tour to celebrate their new picture book, Being Home (Kokila, May). They traveled across five states to make appearances at bookstores and spoke with 1,600 students from schools and communities. We’ve gathered highlights from the events.


On May 11, Sorell held a storytime at Best of Books in Edmond, Okla.
