Author Karen M. McManus embarked on a 10-city tour earlier this summer to celebrate the release of her latest YA thriller, Such Charming Liars, about mother-daughter grifters who set out on their final job. Her in-conversation partners included authors Jumata Emill, Lamar Giles, Kim Johnson, Laura Nowlin, Rory Power, Rebecca Ross, Gabriella Saab, and Jordyn Taylor. Attendees at each tour stop were given limited-edition Such Charming Liars t-shirts.

The tour kicked off on July 30 at Books & Greetings in Northvale, N.J.; here McManus greets guests and signs copies of her books.

The author did a stock signing at The Strand in New York City on July 31.

Later that day, McManus appeared in conversation with author Jordyn Taylor (r.) at Barnes & Noble Carle Place in Carle Place, N.Y.

At Politics & Prose in Washington, D.C., on August 1, McManus’s in-conversation partner was author Kim Johnson (l.).
