Penguin’s Dial Books for Young Readers imprint is not publishing two Greg Mortenson titles that it had on its schedule, at least for now. A spokesperson for the Penguin Young Readers Group said the young readers' editions of Listen to the Wind and Stones into Schools have been “postponed for the time being.”
Penguin released a YA edition of Three Cups of Tea in 2009, and had set a November pub date for Listen and Stones, but when the controversy over the veracity of Three Cups of Tea and Stones into Schools was raised in an Byliner article by Jon Krakauer, Penguin said it was reviewing its publishing plans for Mortenson. Penguin had no additional comment on any other change of plans regarding Mortenson’s titles.
