The 10th annual NYC Teen Author Festival was held March 18–26 at various public venues in New York City and New Jersey. More than 1,500 fans attended the nine-day festival, with more than 120 authors participating in signings, readings, panels, and a Reader’s Theater. The event was capped off by an after-party and fundraiser for 826 NYC at the Bell House in Brooklyn on March 26. The festival, which has expanded beyond the five boroughs, was launched by YA authors David Levithan, Sarah Mlynowski, and Daniel Ehrenhaft as a way for authors to connect with their fans and with one other.
