Dream a Little Dream
HarperCollins Children’s Books announced on September 13 that it will publish The Talk cohost Amanda Kloots’s first picture book, Tell Me Your Dreams, early next year. Kloots’s debut, illustrated by Alex Willmore (The Runaway Pea), pulls from her own bedtime conversations with her son to remind young readers that anything they dream is possible. World rights were sold to executive editor David Linker by Steve Troha and Emily van Beek at Folio Literary Management. The book will be available on April 25, 2023.
Building a Business Minded Future
Shark Tank star and FUBU founder Daymond John will publish his debut picture book Little Daymond Learns to Earn with Random House Books for Young Readers on March 21, 2023. Featuring illustrations by Nicole Miles (The New Kid Welcome/Welcome the New Kid), the book will offer children a first look into financial concepts and business with the aim of establishing financial literacy at an early age. Senior executive editor Sara Sargent acquired world rights from Kirsten Neuhaus at Ultra Literary and will edit the project.
