A ‘Big’ Festival

Brick and Mortar Books in Redmond, Wash., held its first Bigfoot Kids’ Book Festival on September 9. The event included outdoor book signings and indoor panels. Llama Llama Everywhere!

The titular star of Llama Llama’s Little Lie by Anna Dewdney, JT Morrow, and Reed Duncan (Viking) embarked on a national tour in honor of the release of the newest picture book in the series. On August 31, Llama Llama made an appearance at Red Balloon Bookshop in St. Paul, Minn., to give a storytime to an audience.


Somewhere in the Future

The Mystery Continues…

Best of Books in Edmond, Okla., hosted the launch event for Jennifer Lynn Barnes’s latest addition to the Inheritance Games universe, The Brothers Hawthorne (Little, Brown) on August 29. Barnes shared the stage with Rachel Vincent to speak about the new book, and followed their discussion with a book signing.


Father, Son, and Man’s Best Friend

Tommy Greenwald (r.) and his son Charlie made an appearance at Books Are Magic Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights for the launch of their book The Rescues: Finding Home (Red Comet). The pair gave a reading to the audience, which included rescue dogs Abby and Eddie.
