On December 8, the Schomburg Center in New York City held the MyLibraryNYC event, which featured National Ambassador for Young People’s Literature Meg Medina and author Federico Erebia. Kate DiCamillo Is Present!
On December 9, Big Hill Books in Minneapolis hosted Kate DiCamillo for an event for her new book Mercy Watson Is Missing! (Candlewick). Illustrated by Chris Van Dusen, this final addition to the Tales from Deckawoo Drive series follows the Watson family as they search for their missing pig. Singer songwriters and long-time partners corook (c.) and Olivia Barton (r.) celebrated the launch of their debut picture book, If I Were a Fish (Feiwel and Friends), at P&T Knitwear Books & Podcasts in New York City on December 11. Bright Christmas
