Classic children’s creativity brand Crayola has teamed up with Audible, a leading provider and producer of audio storytelling, for a new educational campaign that uses audio storytelling to inspire young people to be creative and flex their imaginations.

Under Crayola’s broader Campaign for Creativity umbrella, Crayola and Audible are releasing a series of exclusive, downloadable Imagination in Action activity sheets that allow listeners to engage with select children’s Audible Original stories. As kids listen to the audio programs, they can enrich that experience by doing a hands-on coloring or sketch project that corresponds with what they’re hearing. Parents and educators who would like their kids to take part and are new to Audible can obtain a two-month trial membership to the platform free of charge. Additionally, the recently launched Kids Profile feature on Audible provides parental controls to ensure a kid-friendly listening space.

As part of the new collaboration, Audible will be an official sponsor of Crayola Creativity Week 2025 next January, a free virtual, global program for schools and families celebrating creativity and its role in education. This annual event reaches more than six million children in 100 countries. Actor and author Matthew McConaughey, actor and author Henry Winkler, author Lin Oliver, author-illustrator Dan Santat, author-illustrator Mo Willems, U.S. poet laureate Ada Limón, author-illustrator Peter Sís, and actor and author Phillipa Soo are among the headliners presenting educational content and giveaways throughout the week. One of the major giveaways is the Listen, Imagine, Create! Sweepstakes, jointly created by Audible and Crayola. Ten U.S. schools will win the grand prize of a mobile creative listening station consisting of four tablets, five sets of headphones, four three-year gift memberships to Audible (one per tablet), seating cushions and décor, a customized storage cart, and $1,000 worth of Crayola art supplies. Entries open November 14 and run through February 2, 2025.
