After Brooklyn lost a trio of bookstores—BookCourt, BC Bookstore, and Community Bookstore—in 2016 and early 2017, three new ones have risen up in their place. One is a new location of a local indie chain, one expands a Chicago store to N.Y.C., and one is owned by a local author.
