Bestseller Stat Shot
The first week after Thanksgiving saw a big boost in book sales, which were up 26% over the week prior and up 5% over the corresponding week last year. Which books are stores ringing up the most? The big title in adult hardcover nonfiction is Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard’s latest, Killing Patton (Holt). But it wasn’t a clean sweep across the country: several titles overtook Patton in the Northeast and in the South. Below is a list of the top sellers in nonfiction by region.
Region | Title | Author |
---|---|---|
Northeast | Make It Ahead | Ina Garten |
Middle Atlantic | Humans of New York | Brandon Stanton |
East North Central | Killing Patton | O’Reilly/Dugard |

South Central | 41: A Portrait of My Father | George W. Bush |
