Bestseller Stat Shot
Our review of The Revenant was the most-read review on publishersweekly.com last week, and also for all of 2015. The review started picking up steam in July and chugged along steadily until December, when its views shot up 600% over November’s levels. Surely it was a coincidence that the Oscar-tipped, Leonardo DiCaprio–led film adaptation of the book landed in theaters at the same time. Sales of the print book—both the trade paper edition and the movie tie-in—have enjoyed a similar trajectory.
