Teaming up for a second time, Politico and Random House will partner on an online bookstore called Politico Bookshelf that will target readers of the politics Web site. New of the site, which will sell titles from multiple publishers, comes after RH and Politico announced, in June, that they would be co-publishing four e-books about the 2012 presidential campaign.
The titles appearing in Politico Bookshelf will be chosen by Politico's editors, while the store itself will be handled by Random House. RH said the titles appearing on the site will "allign with Politico's news content" and fall under the categories of current events, politics, history, and biography. The store, through which consumers will be able to buy both e-books and print titles from a variety of retailers, will be found online at www.politico.com/bookshelf.
