Vital Source Opens New E-Textbook Store in U.K.

Ingram Content Group’s Vital Source Technologies, a digital textbook platform, announced plans to expand its VitalSource BookShelf digital e-textbook store to the U.K. digital book marketplace. The VitalSource BookShelf offers tens of thousands of e-textbooks from more than 350 academic publishers.

E-textbooks from the VitalSource BookShelf can be downloaded or used online or offline on the Apple, Android and Windows platforms and a variety of personal computers and tablet devices. The BookShelf offers academic texts from such publishers as Springer, Wiley, Palgrave, Taylor & Frances, SAGE Publications and many other publishers. VitalSource offers digital texts in 25 languages and the service is used on more than 6,000 campuses by more than 3 million students around the world.
