Julianne Moore, Mindy Kaling, and Jim Lehrer have been tapped to headline the author breakfasts at this year's BookEpo America. Moore will be the MC of the Children's Breakfast, while Office actress/writer Kaling, and Lehrer, will serve as MC’s of the two Adult Author Breakfast events. Speakers currently scheduled to join hosts are: Sarah Dessen, Roger Ebert, Anne Enright, Jefferey Eugenides, Charlaine Harris, Kevin Henkes, Diane Keaton, Erik Larson, and Brian Selznick.
This year’s BEA is set for May 24-26 at the Javits Center in New York City. The Children’s Breakfast is scheduled for May 24, 8:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m.; joining Moore (Freckleface Strawberry: Best Friends Forever), will be Selznick, author of Wonderstruck; Sarah Dessen, author of What Happened to Goodbye; and Henkes, author of Little White Rabbit and Junonia .
The Kaling (Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns)-moderated adult breakfast, featuring Keaton (Then Again), Eugenides (The Marriage Plot), and Harris (Dead Reckoning) , is scheduled for May 25, 8:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m. The second adult breakfast, moderated by Lehrer, (Tension City), will feature Ebert (Life Itself: A Memoir), Enright (The Forgotten Waltz), and Larson (In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler’s Berlin) is set for May 26, 8:00 a.m.-9:30 a.m. The Opening Night Keynote is tentatively slated for the evening of May 23.
