Long before Donald Trump contemplated running for the country's highest office, he worked out of the corner office of many successful businesses. Now, he has reunited with anther successful businessman and coauthor, Robert Kiyosaki, in Midas Touch: Why Some Entrepreneurs Get Rich—and Why Most Don't (Plata Publishing, Oct.). Adding to the star power of the book is Mark Burnett's foreword.

Trump and Kiyosaki's simple message in their second book: the difference between the successful entrepreneur and those who fail is the Midas touch, and they share their stories of business gold in this new book. Their first book together, Why We Want You to Be Rich, was #1 on the New York Times bestseller list when it debuted in 2006.

With unemployment at an all-time high, Trump and Kiyosaki's call for entrepreneurism could not be better timed, points out Mona Gambetta, Plata's director of global publishing. "Midas Touch has been written to help our economy," says Trump. "By encouraging others to become entrepreneurs and by giving examples of our own experiences, we hope that many people will find they have the talents necessary to create new businesses and therefore new jobs."

Kiyosaki is also the writer of the Rich Dad, Poor Dad series, and the newly redesigned series will be on display in Plata's booth (4310). (Also on hand will be It's Rising Time! What It Really Takes to Reach Your Financial Dreams by Kim Kiyosaki, to be published in November.)

Gambetta says the dynamic duo of the board room will do events to promote the book, although no details were available. She says Trump and Kiyosaki share "real concerns" about the shrinking middle class and a belief that "entrepreneurs create jobs, not the government." —Bridget Kinsella
