Harpo, Inc. and Abrams have inked a deal to publish a book about The Oprah Winfrey Show. The book will come out this fall, following the conclusion of the show’s 25th and final season. The illustrated coffee table book will include images from the show as well as “new material and text,” an Abrams spokesperson said.

Abrams CEO and president Michael Jacobs and editorial director Deborah Aaronson worked with Erik Logan, president of Harpo, Inc., which owns the show, on the deal. Jacobs said, "We feel privileged to have been selected as the publisher entrusted with the mission of capturing and celebrating The Oprah Winfrey Show's significant and uplifting influence on the American culture in book form." More details about the book will be releases closer to pub date.

All of Harpo's proceeds from the book will benefit the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation, which supports a boarding school in South Africa for academically gifted girls from impoverished backgrounds.
