    The Northern California Independent Booksellers Association voted to add four Southern California bookselling professionals to the organization’s board, the first step in unifying California booksellers as a single organization.

  • California Indie Booksellers Contend with Fires, Power Outages

    Fires at opposite ends of California's coastal region, amplified by power outages, have closed a number of indie bookstores and displaced their employees, especially those in the San Francisco Bay Area and north.
