Beginning January 1, Ingram Publishers Services will take over distribution for Turner Publishing. Turner will maintain sales and marketing functions and will work with Ingram to expand the reach of its content worldwide. “My main focus now is to continue to grow our fiction and nonfiction lines through the frontlist and through acquisition of other publishers’ assets. It’s a logical step to turn over distribution logistics to Ingram Publisher Services as the industry becomes more complex,” said Turner president and publisher Todd Bottorff.

In other distribution news, Hachette has renewed their agreement with Chronicle Books. Since 2008, Hachette has provided distribution services in the U.S. to Chronicle and their clients, as well as international sales support into Latin America, the Caribbean and the Middle East and fulfillment of web orders placed on Chronicle's website.
