Lithia Springs, Ga.-based New Leaf Sales and Distribution Services continues to grow its distribution client base. This month it will begin representing Georgia neighbor, two-year-old hybrid publisher Boutique of Quality Books, which specializes in both adult and children’s titles.
“We feel that their knack for discovering unknown talent combined with their business model for fully engaging their authors not only in the creation of projects, but also in the promotion of their books, will ensure their continued success,” says Alim Thompson, CEO of New Leaf.
In other distribution news, Simon & Schuster has reached an agreement with The World Almanac. S&S will begin selling 2013 trade editions of World Almanac titles this summer. Simon & Schuster had previously been the distributor of World Almanac products from 2006 through 2009.
