At the end of May, Curiosity House Books and Gallery in Creemore, Ontario will close following 17 years of business. Partners Catherine Randall, Miriam Vince, Rowlie Fleming, and Tom Vandewater made the decision following six months of trying to find a new location and new owners, but have decided to end their search.

“The current partners of Curiosity House have walked in the very impressive footsteps of people such as founding partners Pat and Chris Raible and their successor, Louise Richardson,” the partners said in an e-mail. “We are proud to have spent the past six years working hard to bring our customers the best selection, service and programming possible and we are happy to have been chosen one of Canada’s Top 10 Independent Bookstores by the CBC Radio Book Club.”
