Following in the footsteps of Books & Books in Miami, the Westhampton Beach, N.Y., store, owned by Jack McKeown and Denise Berthiaume, is planning to start an international book festival with the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center. Books & Books head Mitchell Kaplan, founder of the Miami International Book Fair, will serve as honorary chairman. The first festival will take place over Columbus Day weekend, October 12-14, 2013.
