On the eve of the National Association of College Stores’s CAMEX trade show, Rafter announced three new programs aimed at extending the capabilities of its platform for book supply, textbook rental, and course adoptions. The edtech giant’s platform is currently used at more than 300 schools.

Rafter Supply offers college stores the ability to source books from other stores, wholesalers, distributors, and book companies. Stores will be able to buy and sell books within the Rafter Network. Rafter Adopt, by contrast, is geared to professors and allows them to choose course materials from a library of more than 11 million titles. Then they can click to notify the school store, which materials they want to use.

With Rafter EasyRent, the company expands on its textbook rental program by allowing school stores to integrate with any wholesaler rebate program through the Rafter platform. According to Rafter, schools can increase their rental selection by up to 35% and lower prices by up to 15%.
