Tite Kubo’s Bleach vol. 19 takes over the top spot in this month’s list. It’s the story of high school student Ichigo Kurosaki, who has the power to see ghosts. He encounters a shinigami or death god, who takes the form of a teenage girl and the two join forces to confront evil spirits. An international manga hit, Bleach is serialized in Japan’s Shonen Jump weekly and the anime is broadcast in the U.S. on the Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim block.
