Supplemental publisher Carson-Dellosa Publishing has added another educational brand to its ranks, acquiring Key Education Publishing Company, a provider of resources and developmentally appropriate curriculum for young and special needs learners. According to Carson, the Key purchase will enhance its product offerings for the pre-K through grade 4 market.
Key Education, based in Minneapolis, was founded in 2005 by Sherrill Flora, who will serve as a consultant following the acquisition. Carson has served as Key's distributor. Key Education’s product line focuses on teacher resources and educational materials with an emphasis on early childhood education, literacy, language development, creative writing, handwriting, motor skills, math, ELL, and special needs.
