The Permanent Press and Blackstone Audio have signed a deal which will result in all 14 novels set to be released by Permanent Press in 2013, also to be released in unabridged audio editions. The two independent companies have worked together in the past on individual titles, but this in the first time all Permanent Press frontlist titles will be available in all audio formats.
Martin Shepard, copublisher of Permanent Press, said having the work available in audio, “means a lot for our authors.” Audio editions, in both physical and digital, will appear under the Blackstone label, and Blackstone is handling distribution of physical editions. "Both [Blackstone acquisition manager] Haila Williams and us have a passion for discovering quality fiction and making it available to ever widening markets," said Shepard.
